We treat our lab diamond sourcing process virtually identically to our natural diamond sourcing process. This means that for most projects, we source multiple diamonds of varying grades, sizes, and even shapes for you to review in person with your Design Lead. You’ll learn about how to judge a diamond on its merits and how that applies to your own particular preferences and design goals.
“[Our Design Lead] did a fantastic job walking us through the design process, teaching us about the diamonds in our ring, and making sure the final product was exactly what we wanted. She helped my fiancé and I feel confident in buying this very special piece of jewelry.” - Emily W., Yelp Review

We prefer to source our lab created diamonds from Clarity Diamond™ , which grows all of its lab diamonds out of Austin, Texas. Clarity is the only USA-based manufacturer of lab created diamonds and we a proud to feature their stunning gems. We also prefer Clarity because their material is demonstrably superior to what is more commonly found in the lab created market. Clarity utilizes a single-step CVD growth process that results in exceptional quality lab diamonds with zero growth lines. Clarity’s lab created diamonds also are never subjected to post-growth treatments, which are common in other makers to improve color or clarity of lab grown specimens. Their material has been recognized by GIA as uniquely situated due to these factors. All Clarity diamonds are certified by GIA with a diamond dossier.
While our preferred resource carries most cuts and offers a range of sizes, we do have other vendors with whom we work to source options outside of Clarity’s offerings. These lab created diamonds might be grown using CVD or HPHT processes and typically will not have origin disclosed with them, though they will be graded by GIA, IGI, or GCAL.

Run a quick search on Google and you will find that pricing for lab created diamonds is all over the board. Simply put, we are in the middle of an extremely volatile market due to the relative newness of the technology and the particularities of fine jewelry pricing in general. We are very transparent that you can find less expensive lab created diamonds online than what you will probably source with us, but we offer a superior material, USA-based sourcing, and the professional expertise that comes from years of experience sourcing and working with diamonds. While diamond material across different sources might be “the same” from a chemical sense, diamond quality is absolutely not, and lab diamonds differ just as much in quality as natural diamonds will. Our clients who choose to work with us on their diamond sourcing understand that the investment in time, knowledge, and resources is worth the added cost.
